Some of the raspberry varieties are pretty sharp - wearing long sleeves is a good idea to avoid being scratched by these.
Baddaford is a steep farm, and the paths in the raspberry beds are covered in black plastic (to suppress weeds), so these can be slippery, especially when wet. Appropriate footwear with a really good grip should be worn to help avoid slips, falls, or turned ankles.
Crates can get heavy, especially when it has been raining. Don’t lift more weight than you feel comfortable and ask for help if something feels too heavy. Use good lifting practices as outlined here:
