Artichokes

Baddaford is a steep farm, and it can get super muddy and slippery if it’s been raining. Appropriate footwear with a really good grip should be worn to help avoid slips, falls, or turned ankles.

Artichokes are harvested using knives which are kept sharp for ease and efficiency. So care must be taken with these.

Crates can get heavy, especially when it has been raining. Don’t lift more weight than you feel comfortable and ask for help if something feels too heavy. Use good lifting practices as outlined here:
